Hermann Sons Life is excited about the launch of our new Mobile App.

The App is now available through Google Play and the Apple App Store. You can create your account using the HSLH20 registration code at any time.

The App has three distinct sections – referred to as locations – the Home Office, Camp and Dance.

The Home Office section will include:

•  News items including our social media posts and articles on topics of interest to members;

•  A comprehensive calendar that includes upcoming events and Home Office holidays;

•  A complete list of contacts for the staff and agents;

•  And lots of photos from events and community service initiatives.

To protect the privacy of our campers and dancers, only their parents will be able to register for the Camp and Dance portions of the App. They have received their registration code via email.

The Camp section will include:

• Lots and lots of photos from each session of Camp that parents can see in real time;

• A way for parents to send one-way emails to their campers;

• And news items about what’s happening at Camp throughout the summer and even in the off-season.

The Dance section will include a way for parents, instructors and liaisons to communicate in real time about the class schedule, costumes, fund-raisers and so much more.

We can use the App to send what are known as “push notifications” to a group or all members. For example, if we need to let parents from Week 2 know about a change in the pick-up schedule, we can send a notification only to those parents. Or, if we need to let the entire membership know that the Home Office is closed because of bad weather then we can send a notification to everyone who has the App.

We place a high priority on communicating with our members and this new App will be another way of staying in touch with our Hermann Sons Life family.
