Schedule & Activities
Campers participate in a free-choice elective program of daily activities ranging from crafts to sports, performing arts to adventure activities and participate in special evening programs.
Eligibility
Hermann Sons Life Camp is for junior members and non-members 7-14 years of age.
The Camp Program is open to youth who will be 7 years of age and less than 15 years of age on or before Sept. 1 of the current camping year. Registration is opened first to members and then registration opens to non-members at a later date.
Youth who are ages 7-9 by Sept. 1, are eligible for Mini Camp, and ages 8-14 as of Sept. 1 are eligible for a full week or extended week.
Campers must be in good health and be both physically and mentally able to participate in all Camp functions.

Adventure Activities
Climbing
Campers will practice safe climbing techniques primarily on the bouldering wall and the 30-foot vertical wall. In addition, campers will participate in some low ropes course activities, knot-tying skills, rappelling and more. Double-period activity.Challenge Activities
Campers will participate in the High Ropes Challenge Course, Zip Line and and the Giant’s Swing. Ages 10-14 only. Double-period activity.Water

Archery
Campers are taught basic skills of markmanship using a re-curve bow and arrows.Riflery
Using air rifles, campers learn shooting techniques and positions while practicing essential safety fundamentals.Nature
Outdoor Living SkillsCampers experience outdoor adventures such as hiking, shelter building, fire building, outdoor cooking and other activities in wooded areas around Camp. Open to ages 10-14.
Adventures In NatureNature hikes and outdoor educational activities, like bird-watching, are a part of this class.
