Dance Instructor Shannon Westmoreland, a member of Vineta Lodge, started classes with the HSL dance program in San Antonio at the age of three under the instruction of Linda Jones. She was a member of the show group Polkateers from age nine to 17 and danced with the TJ Dance Factory, Lone Star Kids and her high school dance team. Shannon began teaching in 2002 and has taught in Live Oak, Lone Oak and Corpus Christi.

“Tap dancing is my favorite style of dance but I also enjoy teaching ballet, jazz and hip hop. Dance has been a part of my life for more than 40 years, and I enjoy sharing my love for dance with the HSL youth!”
