Theresa is a third-generation Hermann Sons Life member and an active member of Rutersville Lodge currently serving as Secretary/Treasurer. She was elected to the Hermann Sons Life Board of Directors at the HSL 2026 Convention Assembly.

Theresa began working part-time at Carmine State Bank while attending Blinn Junior College and Sam Houston State University and after graduating in 1990, became a full-time employee and currently serves as Vice President and serves as Secretary to the bank’s Board of Directors.

She has served in various capacities on church council and in other volunteer organizations.

After her husband passed away unexpectedly in 2017, she was invited to join Hope Gathering, a Christian-based nonprofit widows’ group in Brenham. Theresa became actively involved in the organization and now leads a local group and assists with behind-the-scenes efforts as the organization has grown nationally, including Alaska and is also in Canada.

Theresa was married for 25 years and has two sons.
