Your Home Office is working hard to ensure that “We strengthen community” is not simply a slogan. We strongly believe in the mission of our forefathers to strengthen our communities and leave them better than we found them. You will notice that some of our upcoming campaigns will be centered around community service to ensure we remain steadfast in our fraternal mission.
Beginning in this month’s issue, we will be highlighting charitable organizations that are doing good work in our communities. I am thrilled to recognize the first organization we are highlighting, Canyon Lake Animal Shelter Society. (C.L.A.S.S.)
C.L.A.S.S. is a 100-percent volunteer-led organization that is funded completely by donations. The volunteers meet the needs of the animals and work tirelessly to find them foster and adoptive homes. You can read more about C.L.A.S.S. in the article featured in the October edition of Hermann Sons Life. (Click here)
We invite you to share with us information on the organizations in your community that are doing good work as well. We want to recognize other groups strengthening our communities. Hopefully, by shining a light on them we can help them receive the resources they need to continue making a difference.
Please be sure to share pictures and stories of your volunteer efforts so that we can encourage our fellow members to do the same!
I look forward to hearing from you.
For more than 160 years we have been guided by our founding fathers and their belief in “Friendship, Love and Loyalty.” Now, more than ever, we must continue to honor their legacy.
